Hello everyone: My Grandmother's name was Jean Fidler. I believe her mother was named Eliza Ballendine (?) but am not sure. Her Father's name might have been Angus. Unsure if her lineage is from Andrew Fidler. She was born in 1908 and lived in "Lockport" Manitoba. I have looked on the Manitoba Vital Statistics web site but there is no birth certificate. So I am hoping someone could point me in the right directions. My dad was born in Carmen, Manitoba but the family moved to Vancouver in 1934. Please feel free to email me: arknee@telus.net.

It will be interesting to see which of Peter Fidler's sons my Granny was related to. My brother has MacGregor's book about Peter Fidler.
